Shimmering silver silk carpets the ground,
Smiling and happy faces all around.

Magical stars fall from the blue night sky,
The freesing cold air flying quickly by.

Families gather inside where its warm,
To celebrate this day when Christ was born.

The voices of angels inside the church,
A snowy white jacket for the old birch.

This beautiful season comes once a year,
This joyous event as Christmas is here.

Thank you for your comments. I have to say I havent actually seen any snow yet but it is absolutely freezing and as I live bny the coast I even have the cold sea breeze to cope with. Oh well, dx

When I saw the title to this I knew I had to read it and would love it. What a beautiful picture you have painted here. I could see it all. I miss the snow so much and you brought back many memories of it for me with this. Thanks so much for that.
