You brought me back to God and pulled me out of **** You always stood by me Listened patiently You believed in me Helped me find my faith I believed in life again Cos you were my God-sent You are a sweet angel Just like a child I give in to you all the time And you did too You are one of a kind Love of my life And then I realise you tried To have a giving heart Tried hard to rid the hate That for years was eating your heart But my coaxes and pampering Didn't help you at all You hated everybody And started to tire of me You were in the comfort bubble Drifting away from me I watched you hate the world Like a wilful child Hopelessly love you For both what you are and aren't I wanted to protect you From devouring your own heart I prayed everyday For you and me I asked God to make me strong So to pull us through Then He made me see That your time hasn't come He wanted me to give up Cos I wasn't your special one God wants me to be strong So I let you go Oh boy it hurt like hell But that was for you And myself Now I'm so confused For you are so sweet Still the wilful child That I'm hopelessly in love with You haven't changed abit Though I know you will one day But I have to move on I have to be strong One day I'll have to see you with your special girl It'll hurt like hell I know But then I can truly let go We knew there was something goin on The feelings were so strong Do you still feel it?
