As a bright, Spring sun does dawn,
Somewhere out there, a dream is spawned.
The earth is warmed by brilliant rays,
As another traveler is on his way.
Unknown paths are tentatively taken,
As the world around us does awaken.
Some will fall, others will stumble.
As memories are made, a world will crumble.
This it seems our lot in life,
Weeping with joy, sobbing in strife.
Each day will end as it began,
Pleading for dreams to soar then safely land.
As the daylight fades to night,
We dream and wait for the morning light.
Then once again with hopes anew,
We greet the day and what ensues.

God blessedus by not giving us foresight. We can awaken each dawn with a hopeful heart that something beautiful will happen. If it doesn't we have another day. Thanks for pointing this out. Joyce

Joyce, thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I agree, I am thankful that foresight is not a problem for me. I have found that hindsight is 20/20 and it definitely leaves an impression.

Melton, thanks for taking the time to read and comment. When I wrote this piece it was written to remind me that each day is a new day. It is a rotten feeling to wake up and regret that you did.
