~Summer's Desire~

Music plays ... our bodies sway ...
summer breezes tease our skin.
Sand in my hair ... here on a dare ...
feeling the glow of your touch within.
Starlit skies ... moonlit eyes ...
consumed in anticipation of this embrace.
Candles burn ... our bodies yearn ...
shadows dance upon your tanned, amazing face.
Taste and kiss ... know this bliss ...
we've longed for this moment in time.
Come to me ... this is meant to be ...
your many pleasures so sublime.
Secrets shared ... confessions spared ...
contentment flows so pure and sweet.
Midnight desire ... feel this fire ...
together we conduct heat.
Gentle lips on mine ... so divine ...
I surrender to your touch.
Cant fight fate ... this need too great ...
I've never wanted any one before ... so much.
Take me there ... all that I am, I share ...
of your offerings I am bound.
Love and lust ... held in trust ...
true ecstasy finally found.

Janet, I loved this so much. It just seems to dance, and it's so gentle, yet so fiery. I think I just may have to print this one...wonderful work.

It's still lovely!! Take that muse to a movie..or a museum..or something...don't make me come over there and give your muse a lecture!

JM-
i haven't stopped by in a while. i've had cousins in town and such, not to mention sharing your problem of a misplaced muse. =)
but i stopped in and guess whose topic's on top? thanks for reposting. i like this a lot. it catches summer romance in the palm of it's hand. i thought of the song "summer nights" during the first few lines.

Oh wow JM....with your muse inspiring things as gorgeous as this, I think it's ok for her to go on vacation now and then, don't you think?  The best of the best need their rest, afterall....a beautiful piece here.

beautiful Jan, very romantic. Makes me want to run bare foot through the sand and surf getting sand In-between my toes.

Only problem is that the nearest beach is 60 miles away
