oh, this is so cute!!!i dont really know what an abstract poem is but nevertheless i will try to write one myself....will try to post it soon

Sven, your willingness to experiment with different styles inspire me...i will follow your example and hopefully you will guide me along and like my feeble attempts at these forms

An abstract poem concentrates more on the SOUND of the words then the actual words themselves.  The MEANING is secondary. . . it's like "painting with words".  

Some examples of abstract poems are Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky", and the poems of Dame Edith Sitwell and e e cummings.
