A boy child dreams every fortnight Giving his infinite joy, knowledge, love Making new obscure places Quietly revealing silently these understood voices Wanting xanthic, youthful zinnias Zephyr, you xenophile Waft vicariously up to seek real quests Piloting over nights moon Leaving kingdoms jewels in hand Growing for each day Caring beyond all --------------------------------------------------------------- < !signature--> That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl [This message has been edited by Sven (edited 07-02-2000).] |

Wow excellent Sven, my brain would go on strike trying to do something half as good as that. A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry |

Sven, these recent poems form you just go on from interesting to more interesting and upwards... WOW, amazing work... ------------- Amid bright crimson daylight early, Flowers gave him incredible joy, Kisses lovely, mystical notes on petals, Quiveringly resplendent sentiments, Triggering unique visions While xylophone yearns zest... See you inspired me to write about a "wannabe" musician... on a summer morning looking at flowers ... regards, sudhir. |

Sven, WOW!!! This was too cool my friend!!! You have done very well with your poetry book. Very impressive. Lone Wolf Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. --William Wordsworth |

Thanks to everyone. . . and thank you Sudhir, for your poem. An alphabet poem is just that, it's a poem where each word begins with the next letter of the alphaber (A-Z, or Z-A). But an alphabet poem can also be about a specific letter of the alphabet, like I or R. It can also be a poem where every word in each line begins with the same letter (or almost every word. . .) Hope that this helps. . . -------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
