Standing here smiling < !signature-->As I glance outside Watching an angel My little angel Miracle of life Sunbeams shining down Upon her down below Warmng her, heart and soul Playing as the day passes by Smiling her daddy's smile Causing a twinkle in her eyes Dolls, and other toys Scattered around the yard Trees and bushes shading All within a lovely scene Roses and tulips pretty as can be Little one deep in imagination And the wonders childhood brings Little red tricycle she loves to ride Around and around singing Then something brings me back Out of this dreamy state Looking again through the window At other apartments across the way I look down and see a tiny rose That was planted not so long ago Makes me wonder what that was Flashing before me close A promise maybe of the future be And the things that dreams bring "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Unknown [This message has been edited by Justbleu (edited 06-26-2000).] |
