She has looked at winds,
Winds that bring her peace,
That cover her face and break
The silent rages invoked.
She has looked at skies,
Deep with color and triumph,
That take her sight and renew
The final days of pain.
She has looked at hearts,
Filled with hope and peace,
That cover her trembling hands
Though far futures she cannot see.
She has looked at mirrors
And seen beauty beloved of this,
The strength she gathers
Is for all the world to see.
She has seen hope,
That touch that kisses the heart,
Saves souls drowning in pain
Keeping her love alive.

very strong first post here...liked the repetiton scheme here:She has looked....liked the calm tranquility tone running through the poem...liked the last four lines very much, esp:That touch that kisses the heart...simple line that tell lots

I was digging thing up and I came across this. This is definitley on of my favorites. Reading this makes me remember......Your words are so full of imagery and raw emotion. Your style is so tender and caring. Purely Poetic.
