                  U

Rummaging through the basement
Now insecure but was content
In a shoebox appeared a letter
I fear not open, addressed to my lover

Tied with a bow
I just had to know
The identity of the sender
My deepest fears surrender

A tear in my eye
My heart did cry
An insecure effect
But who's love did it reflect

I sat there and balled
Then a soft voice had called
"Honey what are you doing down there"
Couldn't speak, just cried with fear

As she came down the stairs
Then wiped off my tears
Her soft voice had spoken
"What's wrong your heart looks broken"

Sadly I handed her the letter
But her frown changed to better
A glow on her face
A smile did replace

Then she put her arm around me
Opened the bow to see
My sad tears dry
Turn to a happy cry

She looked deep in my eyes
As we both let out cries
And said, "Never be blue"
"This letter is from U"

~Oh Boy,...and just as I began to sleep...Insect posts a poem.  Heard the snapping and awoke to read this treasure.  Look what you did to yourself.  Silly. Aaawww,,...it was you all along.  How cute the feelings you portray in this one.  Wonderful.  Hooray,...so glad it ended on a happy note.  Take care.  Now you know after your last reply to mine I have to sign off this way. *Peace.   .

Insect,

It was you all along!!  That is wonderful.  Do not look unless you are prepared for what you'll find.  I am glad she was true to you.  Great poem!!  Had me hanging on everyword.

insect,

You are one diverse individual!  I've enjoyed reading your verses.
I really liked the insecurity overtones in this one.  Everyone feels them, few admit it so well.

Hugging the Pillow

Your voice calls out
Moaning then shouts
Suddenly you're awake
But the fantasy was fake

U hurry back to sleep
For this fantasy to keep
But it's lost in space
U can't remember the face

A new dream begins to shower
You're standing beside a flower
Insects are flying everywhere
U try to block the suns glare

U catch one in your net
Heat from the sun makes u sweat
The little insect stares in your eye
He just wants u to let him fly

U let him fly away
Insect is on his way
U open your eyes hugging the pillow
Just as the prettiest insect flies through your window

I had to write U this if your going to put
me in your library. THANKS SEA

Did you think,
I'd not reply?
You spied calm
within my eye...
HURRICANE--
and passion spent...
how could I, would I
not relent?

Simple breeze,
I tilt my head,
and gasp, relieved--
I am not dead.

A simple pleasure,
sounds absurd,
but simple rhyme
of poet's word--
is all I need--
I am not dead...

Atmospheric Romance

Mountain rocks sleep with no care
When a silence fills the air
Then a wind takes fruit from the tree
Caged animal's fight to be free

Hurricane serenity arrives
Dominating the skies
She blows fear throughout
Falling trees try to shout

She's a cyclone waterspout
Moving objects about
But serenity's eye is calm
A vortex in her palm

She awaits her lover Mister
Along comes Insect twister
Spinning a thousand miles
They mate with destructive smiles

Together the ultimate force
Love killers without remorse
Two storms bound together
An intimate fulfillment of weather

Insect blasts up debris
Serenity is multiplied by three
A shaking and pounding disturbance
In a violent atmospheric romance

Insect twister spins around
Giving a magnetic thunder of sound
Hurricane serenity blows on south
Blowing kisses from the winds of her mouth

Out to sea she rains her good-byes
While the twister is lost in the calm of her eye
Once again all the birds begin to fly
From space serenity is the dove in the sky

THANKS serenity
