Once in a while a person graces your life Someone you never thought would A person who brings joy and happiness More than you thought a person could You bring laughter to a tired old soul A breath of fresh air in the stillness of life Your smile beams like the rays of the sun And brings warmth to a soul in strife Your eyes sparkle like the stars of heaven In them are hope, peace and love Always brightly shining each day But always as gentle and caring like a dove. I thank you for letting me call you "Friend" For I see in you something special and great A soul blessed beyond doubt A friend who is true and has no hate |

This is a beautiful tribute to a friend. I too am fortunate enough to have discovered a friend such as this in my life~~~~~~~~one that has literally saved my life because she loved me. So this poem was very special to me. It was very beautiful. |
