Yesterday afternoon I lost my husband - I had been preparing for two weeks, but it is still so very difficult. I wrote this yesterday morning....I guess in preparation. I will be back here after a short break - I need my writing, and I so appreciate the warm welcome I've been given. _________________________ One coffee cup is so forlorn, one solitary plate; the pattern of my life was torn by somber hands of fate. A shadow in your vacant chair is drawn by morning's thread. I hear the creaking of a stair - it's only evening's tread. The arms of emptiness unfold - I shiver in their grasp; and muffled heaviness unrolls its whispers from the past. Each day I must rebuild anew... bridge gaps that now exist. For part of me has followed you into that great abyss. |

Laryalee. First I want to express how terribly terribly sorry I am for your loss. Second - thankyou for choosing to place your trust here with us at Passions. I am sure I speak for all when I say we will honour that. May I give you many thoughts and hugs. K |

Laryalee~ I am terribly sorry for your loss. This brought tears to my eyes...but I am glad to see you have your writing. May the good Lord continue to shine his love on you and you begin to find a way to mend your broken heart. Love, Amy "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." "Fate exists but it can only take you so far, Because once you're there It's up to you to make it happen." |

I am so sorry for your loss. One can never really be prepared for the loss of someone we love. I pray that God will watch over and comfort you. Thank you for sharing your poem-I look forward to reading more of your work. |
