A wish was wished on the first star a Lover saw A wish of love A wish of longing The keeper of the stars heard the wish And was touched with the lover's longing The lover's need for love The keeper knew there was no greater wish wished No deeper need needed So the keeper sent down a falling star for the lover When next the lover was out at dusk A star did he see A sparkling star A star of untold beauty He reached for the star The star reached back The star was you Two lovers wished on a star A wish forever more |

well versed. a new spin for "star-crossed lovers". i like the idea of it. the keeper just hasn't gotten to my message yet, i guess. =) i dig it. keep up the great reads. We all got somethin' we need to atone for. |
