A Friend Like You Laura M. Wells A friend like you, I have never had You make me happy when I am sad You are my dream and secret keeper, you hold the lock and key Without you, I don't know where I would be I love to talk to you on the phone, although I wish you were with me at home You are my best friend you see and no one will ever take you away from me You make me laugh till I am sore I am very lucky to have a friend like you, you see You are the best thing that has ever happened to me This poem was written for my best friend Amy who means more to me than she will ever know. |
