painted pictures of you now covered in dust the locket i wore 'round my neck beginning to rust memeories come flooding back we were so young you and i out on the run two lost souls wondering through the night lost in a haze....too many demons to fight stories of child hood we dare not share the troubles at home were too much to fear you were my best friend.... my confidant my soul mate where have you gone now time lost they tore us apart we had eachother to lean on what came of your life? in the end who won? you rescued me from sadness our troubles were the same why did they say that we must take the blame? we never asked for their abuse still they gave it just the same so now we are grown.... those days are gone.... no longer in their games are we pawns i wonder will meet again.. the bond we shared..and thought would never end to this day you are my friend i hope you feel it in your heart i am there even though we're apart.... |
