This poem was written for a friendship that was lost in a wave of confusion, addiction, and a place in time that I could never really grasp. I think we got lost inside of a relationship and forgot that everything has a begining, a middle and an end. There is no wasted time when you love someone, There is conflict, hurt, happiness and joy, these are the things that bind people together, if one ingredient is missing then so is the gift of love that God gave to us to share with others. My Forever Friend I remember the instant I knew you were my friend It was an unselfish trust you had in me, by sharing something you werent proud of It wasn't a moment to soon, I was very close to the end. To some it doesn't matter how thier friendship began but our shared problem allowed our hearts to extend It was only a short conversation in a lost time, Addiction became what bound us at first, and pulled us apart in the end. Though I am struggling with the understanding of why there are no moments of regret, no sorrow, no hate it was you that taught me holding on to these would keep me forever, forever tied. I know that sometimes its hard for you to believe that one person could care so much, trust so much and love so much, it all gets tangled with the power of addiction, but don't you feel these things sometimes with him? It's never an easy thing, saying goodbyes for now its only so long my good friend God gave us the gift of each other, true friendship never really dies. When time allows me to drift through your mind, take a minute and think of me......I hope that somewhere we can mend the pain and find the joy and pleasure that we once shared, I miss you my forever friend. |

WELCOME TO PASSIONS CeruleanBlue and a very nice entry... itching to read more from you... Many regards, Sudhir My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself, Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight, Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night, Still there are the questions, no answers in sight Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight, Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor, Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door... You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange ~ Strange ~ Joe Satriani (Flying in a Blue Dream) |
