Because He's Not You He's never late for dinner He insist on being on time His kisses are warm and friendly But there's no tingle down my spine He treats me like I'm a lady With gifts and words of love His hair is brown, his eyes are blue And no matter how hard I try I don't love him because he's not you He's always considerate of me Checking that I'm happy and content His touch is gentle and tender He's never asked me what I meant He always makes me comfortable But there's no fire in my heart His hair is brown, his eyes are blue And no matter how hard I try I don't love because he's not you He's given me a diamond ring Saying he's content to be my friend He doesn't want committment He just wants my heart to mend He's kind and always generous But there's no love light in my eyes His hair is brown, his eyes are blue And no matter how hard I try I don't love him because he's not you |

I suppose the sad part of this is he could never make you happy because in your mind or heart he is not the right one so you will be less appreaciative of all his efforts. James |

That's right James, I kept trying, but it was never going to work! The worst thing is 'he' is such a nice person, with all the qualities that the other lacked! |
