We all wonder if there is a God around, and if he will ever be found, they say he works in mysterious ways, and is as strong as the sun's rays, in disbelief I have lived my life, and I feel God has twisted the knife, at the start of my life their was a vase full of water and a rose bud, the petals have slowly fell and the the water turned to mud, I feel as if he has hit my heart, with a fast flying vindictive dart, he makes all your love ones die, and my whole life has been a lie, if God is there why doesn't he reach out or speak, when I am scared, troubled or feeling weak, how is anyone supposed to believe, that God created this world plus Adam and Eve? |

god didn't make all those people die.... yes, i'm sure he works in mysterious ways... the biggest mystery is seeing him everywhere even though you can't see him he's good he doesn't blame or promote fear he is here trust me on this one i see him in your poetry |

It's perfectly normal to doubt & as a poet you have a means by which to express your emotions, as diverse and kaleidoscopic as they are within all of us. Somedays are dark & stormy & some are brighter & peaceful and your feeling (I find) will evolve and shift in time. I have expressed myself through poetry all of my life, the joy, the love, the beauty, but also the anger, doubt and occasional Shock effect only pieces. Writing is a steam valve and you are entitled to express whatever it is you are going through and I just want to say... Keep on keeping on... keep questioning, searching, crying out and FEELING! |

...i've felt this way before too...then i watched the birth of my son; i've looked in his eyes and watched him grow...and now i know for sure... Tony - we're stuck...inside our own machines...apparitions - Matthew Good |

Debbie, I, for one, agree with you: there is no god. But one can't blame what doesn't exist. Your poem rings with anger and a sense of betrayal, you express these feelings well. Continue writing, continue to express yourself and above all continue to question. That is how we find answers. Sing while you may |

Incredible. The poem broke it down so simply, but at the same time was working on a deeper level. He's there though, if you believe. Coming from me this is hypocrisy b/c i no longer believe. But i did, he's there and he works in ways. He gave the power of poetry to us all keep on writing! Big Pimpin Sk8tr |
