Percolating Poetry

"My Muse is Gone"
someone shrieks
"now and henceforth
I can't speak!"

So take a moment
to reflect
and sit and wait
in circumspect.

For I as you
am Passion prone
when no words come
I sit and groan.

But age and wisdom
a friend can be
when you believe
in poetry.

So keep close to
your treasured chest
snippets and notes and
diaries are best

to hold and care for
memories past
unfold and retold
and clasp them fast

for anamnesis is best
after some percolating is done
and perhaps your Muse
will have some fun

so after the coffee is poured
and your memories have steeped
in moonlust and sunbeam
the words will in creep

and never before have you written like this
your Muse will smile and lie in sheer bliss.

Karilea~
Let's have another cup of coffee !
Girlfriend, you are the best !

Nothing better to draw the muses
than friends gathered 'round the coffee pot.
YOU ARE PERKING !

"EGADS" cried the Muse
"what have you done!
Now for their pens
everyone's run!"

"Naw" say I, smiling so wide,
"it's just that YOU have
quit to hide
from the poets here so long immersed
in doldrum they sat
with words unrehearsed
and longed for you, their
spirit renown
you've only come forth
in the face of a clown."

Sy, the coffee is ready...

Tony, I would bring back the burned books, if only I could...perhaps from now on, they will find security here...

Ethome, cheering up ones self tends to lend itself to others...thank you...

Rex, may only the Blues find you here in Passions...

oohh, Kit, coffee AND rolls...now there y'go!...

JM, I've got the intravenous ready...

MARGE! Where DO you find those graphics! Love it, and you've made the whole piece come together, as you so often do! Hugs, m'friend!
