I smile softly as I watch you.
Seeing the strong willed and capable
Woman you have gracefully grown into
Pride shines brightly in my eyes
I know that I don’t say the words I should
That I do not let you hear my thoughts
However life is way to short
To keep quiet, to assume that you know
I love you so much dear sister,
More than you could ever imagine
You are not only my tie to our past,
But my guiding link to the future.
So strong and detirmined in your ways,
You are my continuing inspiration .
I hope when you read this poem,
You will understand how important you are
You are not only my little sister
You’re my closest and most cherished friend.

What a lovely tender poem about your sister. I bet she was very moved when she read it.
