state of confusion

A.D.

Soft the desert date palms’ song
Winding into symbols of crosses,
Witness gleaming cinnabar fronds
Swaying as though moved
By His undulating harmonics.

Ascension carried on warm winds,
Nothing else exists now,
Simplicity has a way
Of triggering contentment.

Like garage sales for the departed
Pieces of us discarded -
Used shirts, dresses for a quarter -
Humped on the still damp lawn,
We’ve shed the skins we were in.

Hours no longer count
No future, no bygones
Just an absolute peace
That shall never pass.

Corinne~
This is a stunning piece of work.

Great images and an interesting vision of heaven
