Goodbye, My Friend.

I suppose there always comes a time
When each of us must go
And when the time draws near, my friend
It's best that we don't know.

You left behind a legacy
Of laughter and of smiles
Of whistles heard 'round the halls
And your own unique style

From backwoods ways on sunny days
And grins from ear to ear
You touched us all, in no way small
You drew us all so near.

You spent your days in crazy ways
That made us laugh out loud
And as your friend, but near the end
You know, it makes me proud.

Today, I searched my inbox
For the "Hello", I thought to find
But when I heard the news, my friend
I nearly lost my mind.

For God, He has His own plans
And decided that today
You'd leave your home and all alone
Take your last trip, just one way.

The tears, they fell like silent rain
From the people that you knew
The skies took on a look of pain
O'er top the summer's blue

So I guess this is goodbye, my friend
Though to you I can not tell
The wish from all of us today
That God should keep you well.

We'll miss you Bryce.

This was written for a friend who tragically lost his life this morning in a motor vehicle accident, on the way in to work.  He leaves behind his wife, his two boys and countless family members and friends.
We all shall miss him dearly.
Bryce was 29.

Trew,

I am sure your friend would be proud of this touching tribute you have written.  It is always sad to lose someone so young and full of life.  Deepest sympathy on the loss of a dear friend.

Thank you all for your kind words, your sympathy and your prayers, they mean so much.
It's at times like these that you learn to appreciate the good things in life a little more.  Not the least of which are the good people here at Passions.
You guys make each day a little brighter.

Thank you again,

Trevor.

Trevor, I hold you and your friends family in my heart and in my prayers. If I could take even a part of your pain I would my friend.
