I am real,
for what real is worth.
I can feel
the heart beat of the earth.
I have strived
for life on my feet.
I have given birth,
layed my heart on fires hearth,
and stretched my time
on wings of mirth.
And now I'm gentle,
and now I'm round.

My calling before me, let quill be my offering;
For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.

Lovely. There is a simplicity and gentleness barely beneath the surface. Yes, round is a good analogy.
