What the Hell I begin... like a hunter chasing his prey. Moving in quickly for the desired kill before she has a chance to turn and run away. She must feel... the way of a hunted prey so desperatly fleeing the hunters will to kill as he maneuvers into position and reveals all the precision of his skill. I listen... as she speaks those words I know so well "Slow down James...what the hell ! ! ! Can you wait for my feelings to formulate?" I wonder... about the message she will convey. Will I be a survivor for another day or will she speak those words "go away". I must... take some time to think yet my mind only registers blank. May I reveal all the love I wish to share. A desire hard to fulfil if she doesn't care. I want to move forward and take some action. Her beauty has enticed my soul now my heart yearns for satisfaction. If she was a lovely damsel in distress I would know exactly what to do but if she flees from a heart so true what can I do? I must let go... this I already know. "What the hell." Oh boy James! Sometimes a little lady may surprise you ... you may just find yourself turned into the prey! Great descriptions ... I do hope it all works out for you, and you get your hearts desire! I enjoyed this safari much! Best wishes, /Kit |

James, you write from such an emotive threshold... this is a wonderful expression of feeling. Perhaps if you allow your "prey" to approach you upon occasion, she would feel perhaps less "hunted" and more willing to share ...? Good writing, my friend...I love your honesty. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

The thrill of the hunt, one is always moving faster than the other, it seems. Liked this! Corinne |

jmlee12345, Very moving piece that you have wrote. I liked it, and that special someone will show up for you. How could they resist someone that writes like you do? |

James, There is nothing like the hunt. Nice writing. You have captured those feelings well. I hope she comes around soon my friend. Hang in there!! LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

I love your imagery for this wonderful piece James. I know that once again you are sad, but as they say........you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Your real true love does await you......I know she is somewhere. Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley |

Thank you Kit, Claire, Corinne, Bill, Lone Wolf, Butterfly, Marina, Paula, and Holly for your warm responses. Marina I can feel your hug from a thousand miles. Sometimes the one you desire the most is the one that is the least available..I know that I must desire the one that desires me...I am working on that right now...I do have someone in mind...James |
