I Just Can't Seem To Fall What if I were to speak such words you haven't heard? And, what if I could teach you things that in life you haven't learned? Questions I have asked but never an answer I can find So, I wait until the higher heavens let me call you mine... Now, I live two ways through out every brand new day And, nothing I do seems to take what I hold for you away I live a part of me to a promise I made to last a lifetime through But, I just can't seem to fall any harder than what I fell for you... There's never been anyone other than you that I've fallen this hard And, never been anyone other than you that I would go this far So, tell me what if I can't ever walk alone? Tell me, have you ever been to a kinder heart and home?... I want in this world what I may never receive Friend, I digrace in life all I was taught to believe I don't care anymore what the world has to say I just can't seem to fall where my heart should stay... If it was meant to be it will surely be A saying a desperate heart waits anxiously to see One can change the road and direct a newer road to make Cause destiny can be changed and any road you've planned to take... So, I feel and trust what my heart can entice I believe in myself and my way and what I feel can be right I won't and I can't seem to fall where my heart surely should But, rather it falls for you and the only place it could... I don't know how to tell you what these tears are trying to And, maybe my only way to freedom is if I walk it all with you And, so I will just have to walk it through without looking in those eyes And, hope that the morning brings me peace just the same as the evening skies... Lord, I am sorry that I just can't seem to fall But, Lord, In you and this path is where I've found it all I am sorry I made a promise that I can not seem to keep But, in us all, I'm where I am, Lord, just let me sleep. Saun.... You just expressed a belief I hold dear, but have never really been able to put into the proper words: "One can change the road and direct a newer road to make... cause destiny can be changed and any road you've planned to take.." I may frame this one, if it's ok........ When I say this is great work, Believe me, I'm serious!! Love received is equal to love given! |
