If I could bring you back dad It'd be awesome, You'd be heathly and not sick, Your cancer wouldn't be in your body it'd be gone. I'd bring you back to all your friends & family, You'd be happy and always laughing, You'd be a strong dad and not weak. But I can't bring you back, Because you went home where you belong, Everyone wishes to bring you back here. I'm crying when I'm writing this.. Sometimes I wonder could someone have saved you, But I guess you had to go that night I was only 16 when you died now I'm 17. I think if you would of lived you would of been weaker, I'm fighting for you with my disability, Everyday I keep getting stronger. I know your happy because I can feel you inside of me, Your telling me "Minna don't give up" so I don't, I know when it's my time to go home you'll be waiting. Everyone says I remind me of you cause of things, They said you were a fighter so am I, I'll fight til the very end of my life I promise. When tears come rolling down my face, I think of you when I'd laugh my tears stop, You were a big impact on me dad I love you. I haven't been able to face the church yet It reminds me of you too much everywhere I go, Your memories remain there and forever. Love always ~*~Minna aka The Fairy Princess~*~ ****** Alittle info on my dad. He was born in Finland he loved everyone and as you read in my poetry you'll find out why I'm the ~*~Fairy Princess~*~ ~*~What you see is what you get~*~ |

Minna..... When I read this I appreciate the way you share your feelings....it's a tribute to your Dad, and my own belief is that he is still with you..... In your heart, which is in your words...... ~~~~~~~~~~Never~~~~~~~~~~ say ~~~~~~~~~~Never~~~~~~~~~~ |

Minna, this is wonderful. . . I lost my own Father when I was 10. . . so I know the pain that goes along with losing a parent so young. . . It's good that you know that sometimes these things have to happen for us to learn the lessons that we have to learn. . . it doesn't make in any easier, but that's the first hurdle. . . Never give up Minna, you know that he would want it that way. . . his spirit lives on in you. . . his strength gives you the strength you need. . .he will always be with you. . . You pay him wonderful tribute in this poem. . . and I know that it's from your heart. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
