Cream, Ice

How sweet that cream
From vanilla beam licked
from sugar cone or alone
upon hot skin melting in
on summer’s night
a cool delight
reacting to
the taste of you
custom flavor
returning favor
cold like snow
spreading slow
by sly tongue
spring has sprung
fountain to
the core of you.

mmmmmmmmm   Core, how am I supposed to get back to work, now?   LOL   loved the use of rhyme, not too mention the content.

As delicious as an icecream cone on a warm summers day, this poem will melt a heart or two.

why must we pray
screaming? why must not death be redefined? we shut our eyes we stretch out our arms and whirl on a pane of glass-patti smith
