Forever In Your Heart

So many times I catch myself saying,
If only, I would have waited on you,
I often whisper those words so true,

I remember when you spoke those words to me,
I wanted to shout to the word with glee,
If only, you would have waited on me,

Our lives would be so much different,
So much happiness and love,
Every morning I would thank God above,

For every kiss, every moment, with you,
Sharing our hearts together, fresh anew,
Seeing your smile, your face in the suns soft hues,

We would walk along the ocean shore,
hand in hand, barefoot feet in the sand,
Feeling eachothers' love so grand,

We would sing eachother sweet lovesongs,
Songs we promised to sing,
We would give it our all, everything,

Eating at our favorite romantic restaurant,
Laughing, teaseing, pleaseing, you love to taunt,
One look into your eyes, I could tell what you want,

I often sit and have these dreams,
Dreams are all I can have, one or two,
Every minute of the day, daydreaming about you,

Our paths crossed for a reason a purpose given,
Fate pulled us together across the miles between us,
Now we are left holding decisions, love or lust?

I often wander, what could have been?
I should have waited for you,
I ask for your forgiveness,
Thats all I can do,

For our love was meant to me,
Written in the stars of eternity,
You were the one who waited, waited for me....
And all I can say is I Love You!

I really liked this! It's sad yet truly spoken from the heart! Thanks for sharing.

I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps

"our paths crossed for a reason a purpose given"

"written in the stars of eternity"

sounds like you know destiny well...and you know that even though you may not have waited...love that is destined will never be lost....it will find its way back to you...beautiful work, very much enjoyed!

RH,

WOW!!!  Even more feeling than Part 1 had.  This is beautiful and so heartfelt my friend.  I loved it.  If only . . . things were different and we could go back.  I hope you find the love which you seek.  You so deserve it.
