How do I live?

Shush, be aware
of all that I have,
my past, present,
and what I think, future.
Can you hear that?
'Tis my heart that goes
and beats blood to mind
making my world fear structure.

Shush, can you see
that what presents life
is not really a joy
if you are not near me.
That I am this far
from you soul and your touch
your warm serenity kisses
all of which I need.

Now, pray you, hush,
and do not be kind
for in doing so
would be hurtfull and unwise.
I have not the will
nor, I fear sanity left
to go on without you
for my heart feel the miles.

And could it be true,
that love does make
the learned man stupid
and the fool becomes great.
For if that be so,
then please, let the fool be me
for how can I live
without you near my heart.
