Where The Flowers Never Die It's from the deepest blue that my heart has changed In my mind I'll be there in it's lightest shade And, when the rain and the storms slowly move through Then my mind will take me to a calmer blue... It's there that the sun only shines for me And, there's my field of flowers that only I can see I have walked this road since my lonely years And, these flowers I've found grew with each fallen tear... I've held the purest white flowers in the palm of my hand I've felt the promise of peace in an angels land I've touched those golden flowers blessed by the sun And, found that strength comes in colors of it's brightest ones... I have carried along many flowers of green And, felt the presence of grace walking with me I believe there is magic in it's natural shades A true sign of life given from the warmest rains... There are the red ones that keep my heart feeling safe The roses there can bring a smile to my face I've learned that the roses hold a dream inside I've found that prayers can be answered with faith by your side... So, when my nights are long and I am left all alone I can find heaven at heart and make dreams of my own And, when I'm feeling lost and strength's hard to find Then in my world I'll be home if only in my mind...
