Humid breeze comes in ...
'cross window sill,
summer storm
breaks the silence of still.
By candle glow ...
jasmine incense burns ...
lovers embrace,
desire yearns.
wine dipped finger tips,
trace and tease ...
slightly parted moistened lips.
Butterfly kisses
on lids of closed eyes,
mouth on curves of neck ...
bring on contented sighs.
Jasmine and musk mix,
sweet scent of glistening skin,
touch this fire ...
taste this sin.
Hands caress ...
small of back,
bend of knee,
bodies arch
in ecstasy.
Twisted sheets,
legs entwined,
pleasure found ...
then defined.
Rain dances on roof,
in rhythm slow,
lulls all to sleep ...
satiated in afterglow.

Janet Marie

(OK me twin....is this better???
besides...you were having way too much fun LOL
*wink-wink*
sleep now sweet serenity...

This describes it well that one perfect night we all long for with a person we desire more than any other.  A dream unshackled by thought or deed.  Words have such power sometimes they suprise even me with images unimagened.  A true renaisance poet JM.

From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling

Hey Jante Marie, it's the weekend and I get a chance to read some great poetry at Passions. So I thought I would start with my poet pal .......yourself......
You are being a little deviless in this one are'nt you. Temperature's rising things are entwining, curling up and getting cosy here.
Whew! sensual or what!
The old blues legend that just died Jimmy Whitherspoon sang a song about how he loved to make love at midnight in the pouring down rain. Ya can just see how connected humans are.
You got it in you girl and you got to love it.
PS Jimmy Whitherspoon sings with Van on the live album "An Evening In San Franscico With Friends," great album!

Well, arn't we teasing all the men and women at passions. You gotta save these for the cold winter nights, its already so hot in here your going to burn us.

Such a tease. Yes I've looked in the dictionary and beside the word tease is a pic of you..lol

after this poem and the last one, i do believe there's a bit of the Love bug going around. and if it induces fevers like this, i hope i catch it soon! great painting you've done in this one. fantabulous, i say. simply put, fantabulous.=)
