As a child I never had much patience. I gained some as I grew. You know, time takes so many things away. There are so many thoughts I never thought I'd think. I held on to some along the way. Those moments turn into memories so swiftly. It's harder to stand still than to keep moving,at least from the inside out. And it's hard to keep picking up the pieces. Soul searching is quite a task to undertake. I do it from time to time. Sometimes I'm surprised at what I find. I remember learning to swim. There's so much water under my bridges, that I still think it's amazing I never drowned. Romance is a little voice that speaks to me. I never know when he may call. Sometimes I think he's lost my number. Love,to me, is an endangered species. Like any other living creature it will die. In captivity it will die unhappily. Gem |

thoughtful pieces of work...I agree with the last one that love is indeed an endangered species. interesting and creative- good piece. "We have all these galaxies inside of us. And if we don't enter those in art, then I don't understand the point in doing anything."-Sam Shepard |

I liked this piece. Especially about swimming and water under the bridges. Nice to reflect upon ones life now and then. |
