State of constant confusion!

If I had a chance to wish
Upon a falling star
I'd wish for just one moment
Things wouldn't be the way they are
For just a single moment
To be lying next to you
To see that sparkle in your eyes
Under the waning moon

To see a smile on your face
I'd gladly stay away
Knowing that you are happy
Makes it a brighter day
I'd gladly keep my distance
To see your shining smile
If it comes down to that
At least I can dream a while

Jeffrey*
I've got tears rolling down my cheeks with
this piece.....I understand it and have been
in a similar place......no I don't know
exactly what you are feeling but I do know
what this causes me to feel.  Beautiful work~

William Faulkner once said "Perhaps they were right in putting love in books.  Perhaps it could not survive anywhere else."  Ah, but it can.  It can also survive in dreams.  Beautiful piece!

Jeffrey,

It is wonderful to dream, isn't it?  Sometimes though that has to be enough.  I hope that the dreams keep you smiling my friend.  Nice writing.

Yes Jeffrey,
you can dream and you should dream...

this is another of your lovely poems... short, simple, but extremely deep in meaning and context,

regards,
sudhir
