It’s time to take back all that I gave to you
Stars placed in your gaze belong in night skies
Ocean breeze upheld your whispers as they flew
Bequeathed now to moonlit walks not mid your lies
~*~
Whispers of your butterfly winged promises
Should be free to float without worry or care
Golden splash of moon dust placed upon your smile
Should not be held onto for something so rare
~*~
Peace of sunrise that  rested in your embrace
Given now to the hope that within me flows
Petal soft dew that rested upon your lips
Bestowed back upon the budding morning rose
~*~
The angelic glow that I placed around love
Removed now from your mortal skin
Pain held in your absence fit once like a glove
Forgotten.....As I let the healing begin
~*~
Powers and gifts I bestowed in true loves name
Returned to where their forms are truly alive
Last of all I take my heart from your cold hand
I Once doubted... but now know...I will survive
~*~

Bdc-This is my kinda poem.  I absolutely loved this and the pain within in it is so vivid, yet the knowledge that you are strong enough to survive and go on with your life is put forth with perfection.  I would have to say that of all the ones of yours I have been blessed to read that this is by far my favorite and that was not a simple task on your part.  Well done my friend.
