To Soar With Angels

Oh gentle wings of angels fair,
   Enfold me with your warmth and care;
Take hold and raise my spirits high,
   To fly with you amidst the sky.

Surround me with your wondrous glow,
   And carry me, that I might know,
The visions that you see each night,
   Upon the trails of heaven’s light.

Lift up my soul to soar above,
   And gaze upon the wonders of
The world untainted from your eyes,
   That I might see beyond this guise.

To drift upon the twilight haze,
   And view the sights from angel’s gaze;
To glide upon the twilight sun,
   And see the good in everyone.

Enrich my heart with heaven’s peace,
   And grace me with your sweet release,
While flying high above the clouds,
   That I might make my Father proud.

Beneath the heaven’s sparkling lights,
   Enraptured with the glow of night,
Bring forth the calm and soothing feel,
   Of tender love, this soul to heal.
