Sometimes late at night, when the wind is blowing.. and the cold rain keeps pouring from the sky.. It warms my heart to know, that what we have is growing.. My love for you could light the darkest night.... Words could never say how much I love you.. Money couldn't buy the way I feel.. Time can only make us better lovers.. Nothing in my life has been so real.... I will never know--just how I got so lucky.. My life had been so empty for so long.. I remember the first time--you told me that you loved me.. You did it with a guitar and a song.... So, maybe words can say how much I love you.. These words have been inside me all along.. It's all I have to give, but as long as we both live.. You'll have my love forever in this poem.... Your words become music to my soul...... [This message has been edited by Sunny1 (edited 07-15-2000).] |

Sunny, This was very heartfelt and beautiful. Whatever you have to give will be enough. Wonderful words you have spoken and you are right, the poem will last forever. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Almost made me want to cry. The last line..."You'll have my love forever in this poem"...just jump off the page with love and sincerity...James |

Let me simply say that as I read,my heart truly swelled with happiness for the person in this poem. Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |
