Left to lonely left unknowing a theft of comfort's vagrant wind... to love only-- a seed ungrowing-- Fortuna cast her wicked spin. Soma, too abandons me. Adrift, adrift in my bereave... Laughter of the Gods I seek. Adrift adrift remorseless sea... Pandora opened up the box-- but does a gift come wrapped in locks? Lovely love, in luscious lie, I opened box to crawl inside, and then Hope, too, abandoned me. O pleasure of sweet company-- where now are the Gods that weep? |

serenity, absolutely stunning, an amazing poem, I think it this is one of my favourites of all of your wonderful poems I have so far read. "Out of sorrow entire worlds have been built Out of longing great wonders have been willed They're only little tears, darling, let them spill" Nick |
