Where My Heart Can Rest I am going to a world where I feel no pain, where my words are heard and my pleas not in vain. I am leaving for the country where our kids are not hurt, where the country is surrounded by the beauty that it's worth! I can see it all together in a bundle of joy, where the angels sing loud and peoples enjoy. I am dreaming of the place, where evil is unheard, where the people are happy, and the peace undisturbed. I feel the comfort there, where everyone is calm, and all enjoy their freedom in this integral realm. Where there's no discrimination over sex, race or creed, where idols don't exist now, no lust, or pride, or greed. I see myself inside it, this purity of air, where there is no destruction, of the land and selves we share. And I can walk so free and fresh there, with no fear to thread afar, 'cause if I'm lost or shaken hard, I'll just follow the bright star . I can smell the flowers growing, the birds can all fly free, with decorative animals, and fishes in the sea. And wisdom roams and rules the earth, and feelings are all clear, and we can all unite ourselves with the ones to us so dear. So beautiful it is there, so serene, so calm, so sweet, with happiness exploding, into smiles as people meet. And as the sun dawns down at night, and the moon is now our guest, I'll lay my head to sleep the night, here where my heart can rest. (1996 - I spent some time thinking of how my Heaven could be!) |

And I can walk so free and fresh there, with no fear to thread afar, 'cause if I'm lost or shaken hard, I'll just follow the bright star . ----------------- when you find it..can I come...  very cool Mx... well written out and conceived ... lots of serenity and sincerity thanks for the kind reply...to my new poem had to smile...aint it just like a man to read possessiveness (kidding) lolnot meant to be possesive... was trying to express the depth and intesity of how 2 can love and bond ... to the the point that they become one in essence... never want to smother...except in kisses LOL glad to see ya back posting later poet-gator jm There are places inside our souls - that have never been touched. There are places inside our hearts - that need to be loved this much. ~jm~ |
