Last night I had to fight through tears To see you smile at me. Last night I had to fight through fears that we would never be. Last night I gave you everything I always wanted to. Last night you gave me everything and all you gave was you. Last night I said I loved you, you needed not reply. Because I already knew by the look in your eye. Last night your lips kissed mine, they will never be the same. For they cannot speak a line if not to speak your name. |

Kevin~ This is so tender and softly melodic. I think you shared a smile from your heart. Beautiful thoughts. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
