There is a peacefulnees of the warm breeze on your face, the sounds of only the wind whispering in your ears and of thinking only one thing, I can fly For a couple of minutes your mind goes blank your troubles are gone, and you focus on one simple, wonderful thing - the jump And the feeling of freedom as you clear the fence is indescribible, almost priceless. You feel like you can hold the world in your hand, everything is yours. Even the days when fates is not on your side, and you feel like nothing can go right, and you bonded with the grass one too many times, there are no regrets. Everyday, every jump is a new adventure. All very different, yet looking quite the same and after every one, there is a feeling of completeness. And when you feel like you are grounded, and there's no way up Use the horse as your wings - and you can fly. |

Martini, I've only read two of your poems, and I can already tell you have a very good prospective on life. And you do very nice job of expressing yourself. This poem was beutiful. I didn't want it to end. ~IsGona~ |
