Ce Soir You touched my thoughts as I walked with you in shadowed night. I felt your eyes penetrating the sheerness of me, blushing me with kisses as I revealed to you my shyness to a lover's touch. Sweetly, gently, you caressed away my fears gathering me up in arms, tenderly placing your lips upon mine, in silent touch. I closed my eyes as you walked away in the mist, fingers extended, reaching out to you, not wanting to release your hold on me. Tonight, in the stillness you fill my mind, replacing my empty dreams with memories of you. M/M 7*2k |

Marge, don't we all love memories and dreams..and butterflies..and the moon..and sunrises....a poet loves everything her mind's eye can capture...and that's what you have been doing so wonderfully ever since I have read your words... thank you for being you, Maureen just a small poem for you Cloudreams... looking out and up this day...the skies were painted blue the many shades from light to dark were deepest of it's hues the cardinals flew with food in mouth to land on lines and rest before they carried on their way, to feed those in their nest the sun it's brightest of the day, shone yellow-gold in heat emitting rays much brighter than behind those clouds' retreat a butterfly had landed on the lilac's purple bloom and all I did was paint these words, in mind within this room my fantasy of life would be to fly the clouds in dreams and paint the skies with thoughts of love like sprinkles on ice cream the rainbow colors of real you see from shades of blue to green are better than rose colored ones, a pretense of what is seen and one more glance I took, before returning to my bed the beauty of the sweetest rose, the one so deeply red was opening up it's bud to me, another color bright but now must leave the painted world and close my eyes tonight M/M 6.07.99 |

Sunny1... thank you for your nice words..I tried to find a sunshine poem..but you know what.. I can't locate it at this moment so I will just send you this haiku I wrote with a friend this morning Gray clouds cover sun, Skies moves from mist to drizzle Yet day has begun. Sun peeks from behind, Seeks, finds, all those in love to Smile upon their day. Days of grays passing, Sunbeams streaks a slanted sky, Memories lasting. Dusk turns into night, Moonshadows pace the dark sky In want of morn's kiss. M&D we do that as fun..responding to each other in haiku |

Kit ...so heavenly...such praise, thank you ~~smiles Maureen The Heavens Tilt When the heavens tilt slightly, you fall into my arms And the spinning of earth seems so still With the sun and its rays streaming brightly on us It's a warmth that continues our 'will'. We hold onto each other, a balancing dance Just to share in this moment, we two 'Til the stars come around, from on high to the ground It's our sparkling of love shining through. When we dance to the tune of each star in the sky As it twinkles it's rhythm in gold We two-step and turn, never missing a beat In the arms of each other, we fold. We twirl and we spin, turning out, turning in As we wrap up together and rest. What a wonderful moment to share in the air Of an evening, summer at it's best. M *99 |
