Through the clouds sunlight shines
It illuminates the sky in golden lines
Warmth is spread thoughout the land
Inner peace is at last at hand

Times of conflict are now over
In the grass there's a four leaf clover
I can feel the heat of the sun
Its intensity is second to none

In the air is the scent of flowers
You can smell them from the highest towers
Their colors are a sight to behold
Deep red, blue, pink, purple, and gold

The wind causes the leaves to dance
One breaks off and gets its chance
To live apart from the oak tree
Fly away from here and be free

The sun's yellow turns to pink
As it begins to slowly sink
Then it has an orange glow
Reaching the horizon it slips below

If you are going to listen to the wind then that sounds like the place to do it.  This was a wonderful read at this hour (any hour actually)and your vision is once again lent over to me.  Thank you for the read

LoneWolf~
I'm simply blown away at the vividity
of the colors in this lovely piece.
Iffen you don't mind -
I'm gonna think of it as one of your best !

What a full palette of beautiful colors.
May the sunlight kiss your face with a smile,
as you have surely placed a smile on mine.

Ahh, see?  There, you've gone and done it again.  Take me to an autumn meadow and I see your poem all around me.
Wonderful visuals created by this one!
I can almost smell the cooling breeze as the sun sets! *sigh*
