I have loved you in time And in spite of it Although mighty rivers run dry And towering mountains crumble Through fire and drought Through tempest and flood Through ages past And ages still to come My love has it's basis in truth It speaks with a pure heart And a clear and shining soul It flows through my veins Passes through each cell and atom It is as timeless as the stars It lives, it breathes, it exists Part of my essential being Each breath I take it grows Giving, and growing, being The bigger my love grows The more I have to give. |
