I said I didn’t love you And I believed it was true Then you spoke to me again And it all came back anew You just came to say goodbye And it grew more and more We talked more this night Than we ever have before You weren’t worth loving That’s what everyone would say And I finally believed them Until this fateful day I worked to hard to forget The way that I loved you But you can’t forget something That’s so real and true But the love is different now All I want to see Is someone being good to you Although it isn’t me My love isn’t selfish Nor is it unkind It’s controlled from my heart Instead from my mind And now you are leaving To go back to your home You’re leaving so soon Leaving me… alone That night, I felt something That I didn’t want to feel I didn’t want to believe Despite it all… I love you still "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde |

'Sigh' The poem has alot of heart and is so sweet, you write as if from experience, this can't be true as anyone who writes that well must never have problems, I enjoyed every moment of it, It read beutifuly, thanks for the read L.of.L. LoveBug~ this was beautiful and sad. i know this feeling all too well. I am glad to see though that you are working things out and only wish for them the best instead of wishing bad against them. that in my opinion just wastes precious time. and time is so short. take care. amy  great poem!! Ah, the conflict of heart vs. mind. I enjoyed the way you walked through the background and ended on a true note of finality. I think we've all had someone that has had a similar effect on our lives.
