Love letter Blue ink on a paper Words written with care So well thought out For that special someone to share With every stroke you wonder Glancing as you go Always thinking as you write Is this something you’d like to show Caressing the paper with your pen As you write each thought that’s on your mind But your heart has taken over now For the loving words you’re trying to find As you release each word at a time Your heartbeat increases its pace The pen has now become you Your lover has taken the paper’s place No need for thought or wonder The rhythm of words comes easily As you stop, smile and sigh To the words you’ve released so effortlessly And to the words you’ve just released You exhale in great pleasure Knowing it’s your soul you opened To the one you love The one you treasure |

KitKat~ This is just exquisite thinking. 'The pen has now become you Your lover has taken the paper’s place' To caress the page gently with our thoughts is all a poet can hope to do. Beautifully done, dear poet. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

ESP: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it Spitfire and Honeybee: Thanks, I feel that just like the most intimate moments love letters are another way of sharing our souls with someone that we love. When we make ourselves the pen and our lover the paper, the words of the feelings that we want to express come out naturally. That's why I also wrote part of it just as if I was describing an intimate moment. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Marge: Yes, I agree with you. When we caress the paper with our thoughts everything seems to flow. Thanks! Kat |

You've described this beautifully Kat ... so often the words flow so effortlessly, and we think nothing of it ... thank you for placing a lovely picture in my mind of this gift. Best wishes, /Kit |

Kat, What a wonderful way to describe that creative moment. One so charged with emotion, when you truly do open up and put try to put your soul into words. Excellent! Trew. I have been to see the world. Tasted life at every turn. And all the time your face came back to haunt me. -Chris DeBurgh |

Amy: Thank-you for the compliment Kit and Threw: I think anytime your heart and soul are put into anything, then there's never any effort involved. It all happens naturally. Thank-you and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Kat |

Kat a wonderful poem, magical and beautiful. Caressing the paper with your pen As you write each thought that’s on your mind But your heart has taken over now For the loving words you’re trying to find As you release each word at a time Your heartbeat increases its pace The pen has now become you Your lover has taken the paper’s place ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. manic street preachers "Culture Alienation Borebom and Despair" "I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing" -faster MSP "And you see, I kind of shiver to conformity Did you see, the way I cower to authority, you see And my life, it's a series of compromises anyway It's a sham, and I'm conditioned to accept it all, you see" six by Paul Draper. ----- |

Wolf: I wrote the pen caressing the paper the way one would caress their lover. I tried to show the intimacy and love when writing a love letter. Thank-you. I'm thrilled that you found it awesome. Kat |

Kit~ Beautiful work!! A love letter is my very favorite thing, for even when the love is gone the letter remains to show that it was in fact real and not just wasted time. Thank you for sharing this piece!! |

Butterflies: Thanks. I agree with you, love letters will last a life time and maybe more. What's written in them is always from your heart and soul. That's why they affect us so much, even years later. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm happy to share it. Kat |

this is great, and yep so perfect, when you are "falling" you pen with such care, but when the love flows forth and the trust is there that it will be received as such...the pen moves easy...great writing |
