You heard me--when my heart cried out in pain, your love came rushing to me over seas and steep terrain.... I've never laid my eyes on you, but I love you just the same.... You heard me--when my heart cried out in pain. You heard me--when I needed someone there, your letters of encouragement let me know that someone cared.... And though you've never heard my voice, or seen me anywhere.... You heard me--when I needed someone there. You heard me--then you gave me back my love, and helped me see that love can be as gentle as a dove.... You washed me in your tender words, like raindrops from above....
