and so a cup
of herbal tea
a sympathetic hug for me...
every sound is twice as proud,
this day
the silence whispers loud.

Even here
cocooned within
stalwart I,
defend my ground.
I need a friend
within my skin--
I yearn to shed this shroud.

and so again,
here it comes...
another
steamy July sun...
winking one angry eye
(it's gonna shine
until you fry...)

no sympathy--
I do not plead.
no sympathy--
I have no need.
rain on my soul,
plant you seeds...
spin me tales
of legend old,
touch me, Midas,
make me gold,
a chalice
strong enough to hold
all eternity...

serenity,

no sympathy--
I do not plead.
no sympathy--
I have no need.
rain on my soul,
plant you seeds...
spin me tales
of legend old,
touch me, Midas,
make me gold,
a chalice
strong enough to hold
all eternity...

a wonderful poem, I am left in silent awe.

i repeat...your so cool it hurts
and your muse aint half bad either
gotta get me some of that tea...
does it come in raspberry (hehe)
me thinks that"mardi gras" heat is getting to ya...
OH HOW I KNOW...*sigh* (oh how i miss it)
and by the way...
tis nothing wrong with the twin beneath thy skin ...
*kiss kiss*
me loves ya

I think I could need - this in my life
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you

Exceptional Work!

I have no need.
rain on my soul,
plant you seeds...
spin me tales
of legend old,
touch me, Midas,
make me gold,
a chalice
strong enough to hold
all eternity...

regards to you serenity,
sudhir.

Jeez, S'en. I'm gone just a little bitty while, and you're already falling apart on me!   J/k. I love your poems about such aching need. God, that line about Midas, to turn you into a chalice to hold all of eternity ... damn, this needs to be published!

(hugs)
