I look into thoes grey eyes and I melt. His hands, and the warmth of them, I've felt. Just a memory from the past, a short encounter, that didn't last. Now I'm a nuisance, nothing more Ahhhhh, but what a memory. I hear his voice and I grow weak, He can always, make, my heart leap. But the past, sure has a way, of interupting my today, Now I'm a nuisance, nothing more. Ahhhhh, but what a memory. Just a memory did I say? It hasn't always been this way. There was a time I fit his need, He was my knight upon his steed, Ages ago, or so it seems, I still see him, only in dreams. Now I'm a nuisance, nothing more. Ahhhhh, but what a memory. If you can't make it so, you need to let it go! |

Sounds like a memory that still haunts you frequently though... Loved this poem. Makes me wish I could change the past... Took ME back in time.. Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
