I Once Had a Love

Don’t worry, my darling
Don’t ever have doubt
You are learning to know
What true love is about

Let the waters flow freely
Let the vine be full grown
I once had a wonderful
Love of my own

Don’t question, my darling
Each move that he makes
Allow him to pace his own
Step that he takes

Let the sparrow take flight
On a path it has flown
I once had a passionate
Love of my own

Don’t ever shed tears
When he doesn’t call
In due time he’ll come home
And tell you it all

Don’t ever assume things
That aren’t really known
I once had a precious
Love of my own

Don’t worry, my darling
He’ll walk through the door
And love you more warmly
Than ever before

And you’ll smile at my words
All these things I have known
For I once had a beautiful
Love of my own

He finally arrived
A smile lit  her face
A dozen red roses
A warming embrace

She smiled at me saying
How could you have known
I once had a perfect
Love of my own

Aw come on!

There is no way that you can just walk across unnoticed. Great personalities like you are stars and stars have to deal with fame and glory and all the world's glory is upon the stage that you perform ...

just keep writing those wonderful stuff and KEEP US ALL HAPPY

regards,
Sudhir

Beautiful, Liz. This reminds of a song. How lovely if you would set this to music. Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.
