Your Angel of Love

When phantoms of dark are invading your sleep
And your heart is unsettled with vision’s unrest
May I come to your bedside when shadows are deep
And chase them away with a whisper of breath
May I please be your angel of love

Let me take you to places of endless delight
To celestial spaces you’ve never been shown
As I hover above you and drink in the sight
Of your essence, your spirit so lost and alone
May I please be your angel of love

May I spread my soft angel wings over your flesh
May I shine halo glow to the deep of your eyes
May I fill up your chamber with fresh floral scents
May I pleasure your heart with angelic surprise
May I please be your angel of love

Come into my warmth and be wrapped in my need
Let me kiss your sweet lips with succulent’s pour
Let old phantom visions perish with greed
You will soar on a cloud of content ever more
May I please be your angel of love

Just dream of an angel and I will appear
I will take away thoughts of dark dragons and such
I'll remove all bad visions of trembling and fear
And awake you to the feel of a soft angel touch

Think only good thoughts and then look up above
Descending upon you, your angel of love

How could the answer ever be no with a heart felt plea such as this.  I hope it landed safely where you intended it too.  Someone will be blessed indeed.  Lovely piece.

Elizabeth,
I think I liked Michelax answer
the best. Could you fly this way?
An exquisite poem and it would be very
hard to come up with a better one.

Elizabeth, angel~

You could be
and probably are
the most delightful angel
I've found by far

Within the span
of the wings of time
we've come to know
a sweet angel of rhyme ...
and we call her name Elizabeth

Love you gentle friend.

Liz,

This is such a beautiful piece.  All about an angel written by an angel.  Lovely writing!!

Liz, another precious jewel from you. What can I say? After replying to so many of your pieces, all of them just sheer beauty, you run out of things to say.
