Kiss Goodbye Give me a kiss before you go Just one kiss to let me know That what I’ve felt is not untrue That love is there for us to pursue. I’ve felt my heartbeat once again You’ve touched my life Brought me back within The world I’ve craved that soon will end. The hollowed feel of life without Your gentle touch, your wit, your pout. The way you call me just to see What I think of simple things To wake you in the early morn To tell you that it’s time to go But knowing when the evening comes You’ll be there once again These memories I’ll hold for you These memories we shared May seem so tiny for others to But love like this is rare We’ve talked until the daylight come Caressed the night, all that remains Is the thought that life must still go on And I will still want you So give me a kiss before you go The kind of kiss to let me know That everything we share, we feel Is more than just a dream. |

You got my kiss! I might even stay long enough to give you a couple or three thousand. Is'nt it funny how you can't seem to wear them out (kisses) they're just as good the last time as the first. Great poem I really liked it! |

Great poem The last kiss goodbye is probably harder than the goodbye itself.... You want it to go one forever but know that it can't at all. And it's so hard to pull away. I'm sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to a love, I hope that love finds you again soon.... Beautifull poem! I too have had to have a kiss good bye... but I dont think of it as a kiss goodbye forever .. it keeps me gong becuase I think of it as a bye for now ill see ya around type of kiss... See I am really bad with goodbyes and that is a way for me to handle it and it works! Well good luck, hope to read some more of your poems!! I have some poems about love on here too! I am very grateful for the response of this poem from each and everyone of you for this is the one that expresses what I am going through right now and your support is greatly appreciated. By the way good bye is in 2 weeks. Life is short enjoy what time you have with the one's you most love! Love can come and go sometimes and we are at it's mercy. |
